Job Description:
- We have an exciting contract opportunity for a Bioinformatics Analyst to perform bulk differential gene ideally microarray and RNA-seq) and enrichment analysis in the R programing language, leveraging public domain datasets from NCBI GEO/SRA and/or EBI ArrayExpress/ENA repositories.
Skills:
- This includes performing quality control, normalization, differential gene limma/varianceParition dream or other R method) and single-sample gene set enrichment scoring or other enrichment method to support project disease indication and model prioritization in disciplines such as neuroscience, fibrosis, immunology, and oncology.
- The ideal candidate will also have linux shell coding experience for semi-automated job submission on high performance computing servers.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: Up to $41.00 per hour
