Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant Job at Girard Resources & Recycling LLC
We are a Medium size Commercial/Residential Landscape Supply Company with three retail yard locations and a fleet of 41 Commercial Dump Trucks & Trailers. We are looking for an experienced full-time Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to work out of our main business office location in Mill Creek.
Work Hours
Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, with a 1/2 hour lunch.
Payroll
· Review and prepare weekly payroll with Paylocity
· Prepare and submit weekly 401(K) contributions
· Prevailing Wage knowledge, prepare and submit weekly Certified Payroll Reports
· Other payroll duties as assigned
Accounts Receivable
· Review and approve customer Credit Applications
· Prepare customer invoices from daily work tickets
· Daily contact and communication with managers regarding quoted projects and proper ticketing for invoicing customers on account
· Enter payment receipts, process credit card and electronic payments and apply to open invoices
· Run monthly statements
· Work directly with customers regarding account management of past due invoices
· Other Accounts Receivable duties as assigned
Human Resources
· Provide and review new hire packages
· Establish and maintain Human Resources-related employee and DOT regulated truck driver files while exercising a high level of confidentiality
· Provide and review 401(K), Medical and Dental Insurance applications to carriers
· Work with Professional Claims Intervention company regarding L&I claims
· Prepare and maintain OSHA Logs
· Other Human Resources duties as assigned
Requirements
· Proficient in Quickbooks Enterprise, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
· 2+ years of bookkeeping experience
· Associates Degree in accounting or similar preferred
· Experience within the construction industry a plus
· Strong organizational ability
· Excellent communication skills
· A pitch-in attitude, willing to help others when needed in this small team office
