Delivery Specialist - Box Truck Driver or Helper Job Summary
Immediately Hiring Box Truck Driver and Helper! Daily rate negotiable based on role & experience. Weekly pay dates!
We are seeking a motivated, customer friendly individual to join our company as a Delivery Specialist. As a part of our delivery team, you drive commercial goods in a 26' box truck to customer locations, unload, and connect items as necessary, and record delivery information via our electronic inventory control system. Enjoy the freedom of being on the road during the day, but home at night.
Our ideal candidate has prior warehousing or delivery experience and attention to detail. Must be able to lift and move appliances, with the assistance of professional moving equipment, throughout a standard shift.
Delivery Specialist Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive goods and cargo from local warehouse facilities, recording essential data in our electronic system
- Transport goods to customer home / locations
- Unload goods, taking care to minimize damage, wear, or breakage
- Take photos and log delivery of goods in good condition
- Attend to routine minor maintenance of your vehicle and flag larger issues for repair
Delivery Specialist Requirements and Qualifications
- Valid Driver License required for Driver. Not required for Helper position
- Proficiency in handheld devices preferred. Training will be provided
- Attention to detail
- Dedicated and ready to work
