Job Title: Brand and Digital Coordinator
Location: Columbia, SC
Description: Eau Claire Cooperative Health Center (Cooperative Health), a leading community health center in the Midlands of South Carolina, is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, detail-oriented professional who understands the importance of brand consistency and social influence to serve as the Brand & Digital Content Coordinator. Working with the Public Affairs Manager and Director of Public Relations, the ideal candidate will focus on reviewing, creating or improving compelling content ideas, coordinating social media postings, coordinating communications for digital media, as well as participating in community events. This person will support the communications/marketing strategy through designing media materials for distribution to the public, media sources, patients, and Cooperative Health partners to raise brand awareness, as well as monitor web traffic and metrics to identify best practices.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Develop and coordinate Cooperative Health’s brand and digital content for internal and external use
- Create content in support of customer growth and retention initiatives
- Coordinate and monitor ongoing digital content for the organization’s website, social media outlets, and waiting room media
- Create brand awareness opportunities in the community with co-sponsored forums, events, and presentations
- Assist with writing, proofreading or repurposing of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual publications
- Research, outsource and prepare check requests for branded giveaways for community awareness events
- Connect new and existing patients with the organization’s social media outlets
- Analyze post-campaign metrics to set best practices and optimize advertising campaigns for brand awareness and conversion
- Attend organizational meetings as needed
- Collaborate with departmental colleagues on various community awareness and patient education projects as required
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or any equivalent combination of training and experience
- Effective verbal and written communication skills required
- Ability to write technical, persuasive; and informative materials
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience in marketing, communications, and social media
- Healthcare experience a preferred
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software
- Must be able to work with diverse clientele
- Ability to work as part of a team and foster a team concept
- Highly organized and able to prioritize workloads
- Detail oriented
- High expectation of self and others
- Strong problem solving skills
- Positive outlook and attitude
Competencies:
- Working knowledge of Medicaid applications/benefits
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of electronic medical record and billing systems and related applications.
- Ability to apply policies and principles in addressing various situations.
