The Task At-Hand:
Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, you are serving as the face of the JuneShine experience in the New England region. You will manage a team of brand builders, work with local ambassadors, produce events and festivals, build regional partnerships, and support the local sales team.
Who You Are:
You have at least 3 years of experience planning small and large-scale events and have worked in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) and/or alcohol industries. You are someone who is authentically connected to the culture of Boston/New England; your finger is on the pulse and your network of athletes, artists, creatives and local brand partners is strong! You understand how to engage your customers, create unique experiences and have fun while you’re doing it!
In This Role You Will:
  • Execute the local field marketing strategy, engaging the ambassador team on a local level, managing the regional budget, producing local community-building events, supporting local festivals, working with local influencers, scheduling and staffing product demos, to increase our overarching regional sales volume and velocity goals
  • Organically build a hyper-local RSVP list for events using Eventbrite with 2,500+ people
  • Identify the 100 culture shifters in Boston and seed product to them consistently
  • Lead field marketing in Boston, MA with a secondary focus on other New England markets (Vermont, Maine, Rhode Island, Cape Cod, Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard)
  • Work closely with local sales teams to maximize brand awareness and increase velocity Rate of Sale (ROS) in on/off-premise accounts
  • Identify, develop, and establish relationships with local and relevant brand partners in each respective market to drive brand awareness and support digital reach goals
  • Establish a network of local influencers and partners to help support regional marketing
  • Build consumer awareness, and drive trial, and growth of JuneShine in your markets through experiential brand activations and events including but not limited to community events, curated branded events, festivals, happy hours, and on/off-premise tastings
  • Manage the tasting demo and sampling budgets and a team of 5+ hourly Brand Builders
  • Negotiate and manage all festival partnerships and festival activations
  • Negotiate contracts with and build marketing strategies for local live sports and music venues
Qualifications:
  • Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application
  • Valid applicable state/county Responsible Alcohol Service certification (TIPS) required prior to start date
  • Must live in Boston, MA territory
  • Must have a reliable source of transportation to travel within assigned territory
  • Minimum of three years experience in field marketing
  • Minimum of two years experience leading and developing a high-performance team required
  • Weekday, evening, holiday, and weekend availability required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to problem-solve and generate solutions through stressful situations
  • Highly organized and strong ability to multitask
  • Proven ability to lead, close performance gaps, and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced startup environment
Compensation: Full Time, Salaried, Exempt
