JOB OVERVIEW

• Help facilitate setting up structure for Activation Overseers
• Assist in overseeing Third Year Leaders in Activations, which includes the interviewing potential leaders/co-leaders.
• Meets with Activation Overseers as needed to assist with Activation needs as they arise
• Develops and updates resources alongside Director for training of Overseers, Student Overseers and third year students
• Coordinate the training of Third Years within their Activation
• Manages department equipment and storage facilities
• Gather testimonies that come in from all 56 teams and creates monthly reports
• Assist in media development - Student Training, Presentations, Lifestyle Assignment Videos
• Manages department communication to Activation Overseers, BSSM Staff, and students
• Check-in visits with Activation teams
• Manages visual designs and video projects for department
• Facilitates the University Trip Activation teams
• Pay Range : $15.50-16.50/hr

RESPONSIBILITY BREAKDOWN

SIGN UPS AND PLACEMENTS

• Manually place BSSM3 into Activations on MyBSSM
• Confirm Activation teams
• Meet with Activation Overseers to set them up for the year and train appropriately

SETTING UP ACTIVATIONS

• Arrange with First, Second, and Third year time to speaking before sign ups open and after

DIRECTOR

• Update director with things that arise within teams
• Set structure for new teams
• Communicate any “fires” that are coming up with teams or students.
• Plan for coming school year

OVERSEERS

• Setup August overview meetings
• Plan dates for the 2 annual overseer meetings
• Update Overseer website regularly with relevant information
• Communicate to RGPs if questions arise about a student
• Overseer Newsletter

• Meet with all Overseers once a year in January/February. (average 30-45 min)

• Manage, plan, and organize the overseer meetings.
• Problem solve with overseers and manage “fires and messes” with the Director.
• Encourage and pour into the overseers

UNIVERSITY TRIPS

• Connect with campus pastors, maintain relationship with all campus connections.
• Alongside Director, training out of town trips on processes, procedures, receipts
• Overseer details for University Trips including itinerary, leader communication, rental cars, supplies, budget

THIRD YEAR STUDENTS

• Interviews and places all 3rd-year students (July-end of August)
• Sets the 3rd years up with details for each Activation
• Training out of town trips on protocols, processes, and procedures
• Training some specific teams led by third years

CALENDARS

• Connect with School Admins - training/launch calendar for October

TRAINING MEDIA DEVELOPMENT

• Creates powerpoint for training days in school
• Creates powerpoints for Angelo speaking throughout school year
• Maintains training resources for students and overseers

TESTIMONY COLLECTION

• Come up with a system and organize testimonies that come in from all 60+ teams

COMMUNICATION

• Overseer Newsletter
• Helps manage communications for department - connecting with Admins, other departments, Ops team, RGPs, Leaders

GRAPHIC DESIGN

• Oversee all visual design for department including presentations in school, Lifestyle Assignment graphics, BSSM Online Lifestyle Assignment Graphics
• Project manage video projects including Lifestyle Assignments, testimony videos, etc.
