About Us. West Coast Dental Administrative Services, LLC (WCD) is a fast-growing provider of support services for dental offices with over 120 million in revenues and nine-hundred employees and contractors presently. WCD has over thirty years of experience in the dental space and a highly experienced executive and operational management team.
About You. WCD is looking for a highly capable, experienced, and talented Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team and help lead in our mission. Reporting to the VP of Business Intelligence, primary duty of the Business Intelligence Analyst is to transform data into insight to help to improve the value of the business. The individual must enjoy working and collaborating with other experienced, motivated professionals—clinical, operational, financial, and executive—at all levels, from top executive to department leaders.
Job Responsibilities. Intelligence Analyst is to transform data into insight to help to improve the value of the business. Scope of duties and responsibilities will vary and include:
Develop and manage business intelligence solutions for the organization.- Develop ad hoc and recurring business, operational, financial, etc. reports to improve overall business function.
- Prepared monthly, weekly, and daily reporting and analysis to meet business needs and requested by business leaders.
- Collect, manage, and perform data analysis to support overall success of the company – finance, operations, sales and marketing.
- Analyze business requirements and processes and make recommendations to management for implementation / execution.
- Creating and maintaining documentation that includes the design, requirements, and user manuals for the organization.
- Identify opportunities for improving operations, efficiency, and profitability, through data analysis.
- Collaborate with senior management and all company departments such as finance, operations, revenue cycle management, IT, purchasing, marketing, sales, call center.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in the same or similar position
- BA in in economics, data science, math, statistics, finance, or equivalent experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and documentation skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to succeed under deadlines and able to follow instructions accurately.
- Proficiency in business intelligence and reporting tools such as: Tableau, SSRS, Excel
- 1+ years’ experience working with large complex data
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in data management / analytic software: SQL, SAS, SPSS, Python
- Experience working with practice management system.
- Experience working with finance data.
