Key Responsibilities:
- Buy government-end-use parts
- Place purchase orders for FAR15 requirements
- Support Government clients
- Identify cost-reduction opportunities
- Adhere to FAR/FDAR regulations
- Responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors.
- Perform market research, construct RFQ
- Evaluates vendor quotes, conduct price analysis and negotiations, compile compliance packages, and execute Purchase Orders in accordance with FAR/DFARS regulations.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Works under immediate supervision.
- Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Tools:
- This role will work in applications such as Team Center, DexCenter, SAP, and etc.
Skills and knowledge requirements:
- Requires 2 years of experience in supply chain or related field and must have knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations and has purchasing experience using SAP (RFQ Creation, Running requisition reports, PO Creation).
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- Must pass a criminal background check (7-year felony + sex offender)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test (10 panels for recreational drugs and opiates)
- Applicants for employment must be U.S. citizens or nationals, U.S. permanent residents (i.e., current Green Card holders), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
