What we are looking for

We are looking for a CAD Drafter/Designer to provide AutoCAD Civil 3D support for solid waste and environmental projects being conducted for private and municipal clients. Work will include performing mark-ups and preparation of figures and drawing sets. You should have experience preparing plan views and profile views, cutting cross-sections, grading, and calculation of volumes. You should be team-focused but should also be independent and be able to complete tasks and projects from management. This position can based out of Pleasanton, Sacramento, Long Beach or San Diego offices with a hybrid schedule.

How you can make an impact

• Performs drafting, detailing, and graphics layout with limited supervision.
• Prepare construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Apply and follow appropriate CAD standards and best practices
• Perform volume calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Support all aspects of drafting or CADD under the supervision of the lead professional
• Prepare site plan layout from existing maps or tracings, corrections to existing drawings, etc.
• Prepare well boring logs from field notes

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in drafting or graphics required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D required.
• Civil, site grading experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing required.

Pay range is $28 – $39/hr depending on experience and location. This does not include bonuses or our Employee Stock Ownership Plan.
