Pay: Standard Rate of $14/hr. + $500 Sign-On Bonus
Job Description:
The purpose of this position is to provide general support for agency activities and services. This is accomplished by processing requests for services, mail, payments, reviewing images, and other data entry. Other duties include completing related projects as assigned.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assists in the processing of new accounts by taking information, assisting with account changes, and fulfilling requests. Processing will not typically include direct interfacing with customers.
- Provides general clerical support by providing general or specific information; processing requests for services, researching information, compiling information, and maintaining general office records. Data entry such as processing payments, Tolltag fulfillments, and all related clerical work.
- Sort, count, batch and deliver mail and internal documents to appropriate parties. Run internal departmental errands.
- Send and receive faxes and subsequent processing, organizing files and other miscellaneous responsibilities.
- Assist with ordering, organizing and the regular inventory of all supplies, internal as well as 3rd parties.
- Review, update, and/or correct variance images through the ICRS.
- Tag Inventory Management consisting of checking in, cleaning, recycling, data entry into TIMMS system, third party replenishment for tags and supplies, and shipping of tags to be refurbished to our third-party vendor.
- Ability to cope with job-related stress including but not limited to deadlines, customer, supervisory and staff interactions, multi-tasking and high work volumes is required.
Job Requirements:
- Formal Education: Work requires knowledge necessary to understand basic operational, technical, or office processes. Level of knowledge equivalent to four years of high school or equivalency.
- Experience: Up to one year in a similar customer service role.
- Supervision: Job has no responsibility for the direction or supervision of others.
- Human Collaboration Skills: Work may require providing advice to others outside direct reporting relationships on specific problems or general policies. Contacts may require the consideration of different points of view to reach agreement. Elements of persuasion may be necessary to gain cooperation and acceptance of ideas.
- Freedom to Act: Work requires regular interaction involving exchange and receipt of information.
- Technical Skills: Skilled: Work requires a comprehensive, practical knowledge of a technical field with use of analytical judgment and decision-making abilities appropriate to the work environment of the organization.
- Reading: Basic - Ability to recognize meaning of common two- or three-syllable words. Ordinarily, such education is obtained in elementary school up to high school. However, it may be obtained from experience and self-study.
- Math: Basic - Ability to perform the four basic arithmetic operations. Ordinarily, such education is obtained in elementary school up to high school. However, it may be obtained from experience and self-study.
- Writing: Basic - Ability to write simple sentences containing subject, verb, and object, and/or series of numbers, names, and addresses. Ordinarily, such education is obtained in elementary school up to high school. However, it may be obtained from experience and self-study.
- Certification & Other Requirements: Fluency in English is required. Must be able to type a minimum of 20 wpm
