Camp Coordinator- Summer Seasonal Job at SwimRVA
Looking for a summer of fun, friendship, and an opportunity to grow self esteem for hundreds of children? If you love the water, superheroes, mermaids, and kids you will love leading SwimRVA Camps. Our Camp Coordinator will help oversee and lead awesome activities while helping build strong relationships with our campers and our staff. Qualified candidates will have excellent communication and customer service skills, the ability to cultivate strong relationships, loves to create engaging activities, while ensuring safety of our program participants. Previous swim instruction and/or competitive swimming experience preferred.

The SwimRVA Camps Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Create a fun and inviting learning environment to ensure a positive camp experience
- Assist with developing, implementing, and evaluating training for camp counselors
- Assist with evaluating camp counselor performance and creating performance improvement plans
- Assist with camp schedule development, implementation, and evaluation
- Oversee daily camp operations
Salary:
Full Time Seasonal position starting middle to end of May and going through beginning to middle of August. This is a Monday through Friday position starting at $16.94 per hour.
