Camp Counselor Job at BATTLE GROUND ACADEMY
Battle Ground Academy is looking for a Summer Camp Nurse. Lunch is provided daily. Competitive weekly rate and your kids go to camp free for any week you work.
This position will work with the Summer Camp Director and counselors to assist with the campers health. This is a part-time position for the weeks of:
May 30 - June 2
June 5 - June 9
June 12 - June 16
June 26 - June 30
Camp hours run from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm.
Requirements:Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties within scope of practice may be assigned
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments as scheduled and appropriate.
- Maintains awareness of the comfort and safety needs of campers by assisting with the daily care of campers.
- Responds to and leads team during medical emergency situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures and protocol.
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in Nursing program or Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Nursing.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software and webbased applications such as electronic medical records.
Current state LPN or RN license is required. Current CPR certification required.
