ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
This position reports to the Campus Administrative Officer and provides general administrative support, while exercising discretion, to the administrator of a department or division of the institution or to the administrator of multiple institution programs, services, activities, and assists in assuring annual donor points of contact are fulfilled. Coordinates annual giving direct mail/digital appeals during the year and assists in the coordination of donor relations as it pertains to scholarship and other related gifts.
This position includes the following responsibilities:
- Serves as the annual giving coordinator in the Advancement Office, calendaring select points of contact for key annual donors including individual, corporate, charitable foundation, donor advised fund, and other assigned contacts. Assists staff in assuring annual donor points of contact are fulfilled.
- Schedules logistics and secures resources for meetings, conferences, travel, and work unit operations.
- Serves as a primary point of contact for individuals and groups, provides organizational information via phone, in person, and through other communications mediums. Prepares and audits complex records, edits documents, and reviews work done by others.
- Develops, sends, receives, copies, and distributes communications to the appropriate entities according to established policies and procedures.
- Develops, implements, and maintains methods and organizational systems directed at the maintenance of electronic/physical records related to work operations according to established policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent at time of application
- Working knowledge of desktop hardware, Microsoft Office, standard business software programs, and/or Blakbaud Raiser’s Edge
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate Degree in Business Management or Office Management

SPECIAL NOTES:
Position is a full-time University Staff appointment. The work hours for this position will be 7:45 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. This position may be required to travel.

SALARY INFORMATION
Hourly wage range of $17.00 - $20.00.
This position will earn an additional $0.60 per hour for all weekend hours worked and an additional $0.45 per hour for all hours worked between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m.
This position is not exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
BENEFIT DETAILS

In addition, employees receive several types of paid leave benefits, which are prorated for employees working less than 100%. This includes 9 legal holidays, 36 hours of personal holiday and between 96-130 hours of sick leave annually. Employees earn 13-27 days of vacation each year, depending on years of service and employment type.
