Edibles Chef
The Edibles Chef is responsible for producing cannabis infused treats. They will create quality recipes ensuring efficiency and staying in compliance with state regulations. Must be able to accurately dose cannabis edibles correctly per serving. Must be able to adhere to production deadlines. The Chef will be required to meticulously record all work while creating recipes for SOP’s. Monitor quality and consistency while also calculating cost properly. Chef must be a Certified Food Protection Manager and all assistants must hold a food handlers’ card.
MUST HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE IN BAKING FOR A MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS.
Responsibilities
· Create recipes to stay up with industry trends and demand with the marketing and growth department
· Collaborate on SOP’s and ensure staff understand and adhere to them
· Maintain accurate inventory counts and complete monthly audits with compliance
· Keep accurate inventory of non-cannabis production supplies
· Maintain sanitized work areas, production equipment, tools, cookware, appliances, packaging equipment, checking for possible health code violations
· Work with the purchasing department when supplies are needed in a timely manner
· Demonstrate an understanding of all health department requirements for Kitchen Production Facilities
· Ensure personal hygiene is acceptable and up to company standards regular hand washing, clean clipped nails, unsoiled clothing, hair net if necessary
· Maintain production logs and use LeafLogix to convert, and combine into batch recipes
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
