Summary:

Oak Canna, LLC is seeking an Cannabis Packaging Technician. The Cannabis Packaging Technician is responsible for multifunctional support of labeling and packaging our botanicals, concentrates and infused edible products. The Cannabis Packaging Technician completes tasks assigned by the Lab Supervisor. Day-to-day tasks include packaging, cleaning, labeling, operating production and/or packaging machinery. Produce and package in accordance with the State and standards set by Oak Canna, LLC.

Cannabis Packaging Technician will assist in packaging of cannabis products with our production staff, while safely and efficiently using equipment and supplies.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.

• Must be able to pass a background check with no pending charges or convictions within the past 10 years for a controlled substance-related felony.

• Strong work ethic with repetitive tasks.
• Easy going and a team player with a small group.
• Able to stand for entire shift depending on task.

• Experience in a field and/or operation that adheres to strict health and safety policies and procedures, preferable a regulated field producing products for human consumption.
• Strong and effective task-management skills and ability to multi-task.
• Attention to detail – ability to monitor production in process, package and label in a precise manner.
• Ability to accurately follow measurements.
• Ability to be trained on various activities, machines, and systems.
• A detail-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency, quality, and sanitation

• Follow all GMP, HACCP and Q/A processes in the facility.
• Maintain relevant training as new products are introduced.

• This position must fulfill their role with efficient productivity and accuracy.

• Fulfilling daily and weekly objectives that have been instructed and trained by leadership, such as, packaging pre-pack and shelf flower product, creating and packaging joints, confirming the accuracy of the packaging, and assisting with order fulfillment for product exporting.

• Maintain a culture of professionalism.
• Able to kneel, bend, reach, rotate, and stoop on an intermittent to regular basis daily.

• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally.

• Consistent on-time attendance for all scheduled shifts.

• Prepared for full 40 hour week working scheduled shifts with occasional overtime shifts to complete daily and weekly objectives.
