Morning Case Manager--if you are a morning person looking for a Part-Time Feel-Good role--this may be what you have been looking for!

Go home (at around 9AM) feeling good about what you are doing and the difference you are making in these joyful individuals lives, by helping them to start their day in a positive and productive way! Schedule is 6AM-9AM Monday-Friday.

At LIFE, we support adults with learning and intellectual disabilities in their pursuit of a meaningful, healthy independent life, for LIFE....And we are about to expand and open a small new community on South Street in Hyannis, MA!

The support of these active and heart-warming individuals is done through:

• Helping them to rise and shine to start their day on a positive note!
• Instruction, guidance and serving as a positive example to these active adults
• Utilizing your gifts & talents to motivate and excite the individuals we support
• Assisting them to maximize and maintain their independence in their home and in the community by assisting with life skills --planning, basic meal preparation and reviewing daily/weekly schedules
• Assisting in preparation for their daily routines as needed, etc. and on errands and social activities in the community or virtually as needed
• Morning dependability on meeting scheduled shifts

REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior experience as a Direct Service Professional, CNA, Case Manager or experience with the population we support (or a similarly challenged population) is desired.
• Must be +18 years old and up. The individuals we support learn from anyone of any age who WANT to help them in their pursuit of independence
• Must be able to effectively communicate in both verbal and written form with supported individuals, co-workers, and parents and manage an individual e-mail account and basic computer entries
• Must be willing to attend required training classes including CPR/First Aid and any other required courses (on-line or in person)
• Per the state of MA DDS, MUST be able to pass CORI, DPPC and Fingerprint check and have an MVR record acceptable to LIFE's Auto Insurance carrier

(We will work with you to create a schedule with more hours if that is what YOU want!)

All positions +20 hours weekly receive Holidays, PTO and Sick time.
