JOB DESCRIPTION- CASHIER

Summary: Team player with a “can do” attitude who is responsible for meeting and greeting customers, taking orders and processing cash/credit card transactions for take out, delivery and also pouring/serving beer/wine. The cashier coordinates pick up of take out and delivery orders with the kitchen Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Essential Duties:

• Meets and greets customers with friendly, inviting attitude
• Enters food and beverage orders into the POS system for customers in person and on phone
• Processes cash, credit card and gift card transactions for customers
• Coordinates pick up of take out and delivery orders with the kitchen
• Occasionally acts as bartender for servers and bar customers if no bartender is scheduled
• Assists kitchen staff with daily preparation of food items
• Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers and managers
• Additional duties as assigned by managers
• Knowledge of beer/wine menu & pouring/serving beer/wine.

Daily Operational Tasks:

• Ensures front entrance, counter, bar and floor are neat and clean prior to each shift
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner
• Resolves customer concerns and relays relevant information to manager(s)
• Folds and stocks pizza boxes
• Performs food preparation tasks on “prep list” as directed by manager
• Stocks Pepsi cooler daily with Grab & Go beverages
• Cleans & organizes soda storage closet
• Stocks Grab & Go dessert items (cookies, brownies, cupcakes, etc…)
• Stocks beer and wine
• Serves beer and wine
• Refers to nightly clean up checklist to ensure proper cleaning procedures are being followed
• Checks with closing manager for additional tasks before clocking out'
