Main Functions

• Provide a positive customer experience with friendly, courteous service.
• Operate cash register, Oregon lottery machine, and credit card terminals
• Retrieve and bag merchandise, redeem coupons for discounts.
• Invoice processing and payment collections for PUC, diesel and off-road.
• Breakfast preparation and deli assistance.
• Check in vendors and assist with weekly deli order.
• Stock and clean soda and coffee station.
• Sanitize entry/exit doors, counters, equipment, and coolers throughout shift.

Additional Functions

• Learn, maintain, and operate all processes associated with the position including paperwork and scheduling
• Maintain a team environment with other employees and departments
• Other duties as needed to help maintain a clean and professional environment.

Duties/Requirements

• Responsible to report to work at the scheduled time; be a team member who can be depended upon to complete work in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner; be conscientious about assignments
• Will accurately handle money to include cash, checks, debit, credit or house charges.
• Will have a strong attention to detail
• Will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Will have excellent customer service skills
• Will work independently and be self-motivated
• Will do simple math such as counting, recording, addition, subtraction, and multiplication
• Have an excellent attendance record
• Be available to fill in for co-workers on vacation or sick time.

Working Conditions

• Will stand and walk for duration of shift
• Regularly maneuver up to 20 pounds
• Exposure to variable temperatures (indoor, outdoor, walk-in cooler)
• Work with cleaning solvents and chemicals
• Daily exposure to gasoline and oil products
