Job Responsibilities

  • Create and execute a holistic Trade channel strategy applicable to both Wholesale and Residential Remodel
  • Effectively translates customer brand/product strategies, competitive environment, and operational requirements
  • Work with Sales Leadership to develop a prioritized 12 to 36-month calendar of strategic initiatives by recommending priorities and drives synergies across programs and brands within a channel
  • Provide category and SKU assortment recommendations to Product Marketing to optimize performance
  • Collect and analyzes channel program and product feedback (field sales and customer), promotional pricing and other activities to ensure that metrics are in line with channel strategies and cost-to-serve, as well as within business pricing guardrails
  • Support NPD activities from pre-discovery through commercialization, launch, ongoing training/customer-facing and promotional initiatives; support also includes following, contributing to and leading stage-gate process where appropriate
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners to improve forecast accuracy, reduce finished goods inventory and E&O, and prune unproductive SKUs
  • Recommend base and stretch financial goals for the upcoming year for customers/channels. Delivers profitable product mix. Manages financial metrics within area of responsibility with a focus on net sales and gross margin
  • Maintain data package representation of Amerock’s product catalog for RR customers; includes new item setup and content/asset updates
  • Work with Marketing team to develop and deploy content (images, videos, marketing copy, articles, specs, etc.) to enhance customer and end consumer experience
  • Act as a both a change agent and early adopter of change, inclusive of programs, processes, structure etc. Also pro-actively seeks out “best practices” collaboration within cross-functional team environment
  • Leads and champions continuous improvement initiatives
  • Leads active programs by working cross-departmentally to ensure details, tracking, rebate credits, etc. are adhered to and applied as applicable
  • Partner with Finance / Ops to ensure accurate and timely distribution sales, commission, and buying group reporting
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of primary and secondary data across market, shopper, and channel, recommending improvements from the previous year based on success of initiatives and marketplace trends. Analyzes results at the channel level of new product launches and merchandising initiatives. Utilizes this information for recommending future projects
  • This is a Hybrid position In Office: Tues, Wed, TH

Qualifications

  • BS / BA in marketing, business, or related field experience
  • 7-10 years channel marketing experience, preferably in showroom, home décor / improvement, or building materials
  • Self-directed with strong project management skills; high level of comfort with multi-tasking
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on cross-functional process improvement
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills, comfortable speaking to large groups
  • Intermediate / Advanced Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables at minimum) and Power Point

    Pay Range:

      $5,333.00 - $9,500.00

        Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

          This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
