Description: AlphaFlight is looking for a full-time Certified Flight Instructor for Part 61 and Part 141 instruction, primarily flight and sim.
Compensation: $25 per hour Primary instruction; $30 Advanced instruction. Monthly commission and referral bonuses.
Duration of Employment: Immediate full-time position available.
Hours: Flexible hours but you are expected to work (Sunday mornings and Holidays, optional) as client needs dictate.
Requirements:
- Hold current FAA CFI, CFII certificates. MEI preferred but not required.
- Pass an AlphaFlight HR interview and flight evaluation
- Pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug test, random BAT and drug tests
- Agree to adhere to the standardized AlphaFlight training curriculum/procedures
- Have a dedication towards excellence
- Are punctual and willing to work any day of the week based on client availability
- Are willing and able to regularly work 40+ hour weeks (must comply with 61.195)
- Are comfortable with variable, gusty and crosswind conditions up to the maximum demonstrated for the airplane
- Conduct Instrument training in VMC and IMC
Responsibilities:
- Manage Part 61 and Part 141 enrolled student training
- Refuel and clean aircraft windows as needed
- Conduct safe operating practices in an uncontrolled airfield environment
