AfterOurs Urgent Care is looking to hire part time and full time Medical Assistants. In this position, the MA must be able to perform all clinical and clerical support functions (other than X-ray) that occur at the clinic while providing the highest levels of customer service and support.

We have 4 clinic locations in the Denver area: Littleton (off of Broadway and Mineral), SE Denver (near I-25 and Hampden), Denver Highlands (near downtown, off of 38th Ave.), and Thornton. Shifts available vary by clinic location: 7:45AM - 3:30PM, 3:30PM - 11PM, and 4:45PM-11PM. Some weekend availability is required and may qualify for a higher compensation rate. Additional compensation opportunities include clinic volume bonuses, customer service bonuses, time and a half pay for call out coverage, and holiday pay.

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES POSSESS:

• Medical Assisting experience required (blood pressure, vitals, injections, blood draws, in-office labs such as UA, Rapid Strep, Rapid Flu, assist with procedures, medication dosing, etc.)

• Current BLS certification
• RMA or CMA certification preferred (or the ability to obtain certification within the first 90 days of employment). On the job training is available for the right candidate.

• Front office experience is highly preferred.

• Good interpersonal skills.

• Good oral and written communication skills.

• Good organizational skills.

• Sound decision making/problem solving skills.

• Ability to work independently.

• Ability to multi-task

• Good typing and data entry skills.

• Knowledge and ability to use general office equipment (i.e. fax, scanner, copier)
