Job Requirements:
- Any active state license
- BLS and ACLS
- BSN
- CRNA Certification: Certified as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist from the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) or the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
- Master's degree from an accredited program in anesthesia
- Graduate from an academic program, approved by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs (COA).
- 2 yrs. experience as a CRNA in the past 3 yrs.
- After 1500, the in-house anesthesia provider is routinely the CRNA covering L&D. The patients on L&D are their priority. If however, no emergent situation is ongoing on L&D and, there is an emergent/urgent need for an anesthesia provider elsewhere in the MTF, they will be the primary responder until the on-call Operating Room anesthesia provider arrives to relieve them. i.e. ICU or ER intubations, a Code Blue, Trauma, vascular access.
