Child Care Worker Job at Grace and Glory Church
Are you looking to make a difference in the lives of young children? Do you have experience working with young children in a preschool or daycare setting? Grace and Glory Church is hiring a nursery care provider to ensure safe and nurturing care for children 0-5 years of age on Sundays. Our Goal in the nursery is to provide a fun, loving, safe, Christ centered environment for young children so that parents can enjoy undistracted worship.
Duties will include but are not limited to the following:
Upon arrival, staff will greet parents and check-in children. There will be a brief curriculum and schedule to adhere by each week. Staff will support children in engaging in learning experiences. Learning experiences include but are not limited to fundamental Christian teaching, open play, teacher led activities, self-help activities such as dressing and toileting and art experiences. Staff will provide diaper changes. Staff will also provide snacks and feeding time to each child if approved by parent. Staff will complete a brief daily report for each child and give to parent at pick-up. Staff will maintain a clean and sanitized environment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
