Gem State Staffing is hiring for Class A CDL drivers! The ideal person will have a strong work ethic, great communication skills, commitment to safety, and good customer service skills. Updated med-card is required. You will be home daily!

This position consists of hauling fertilizer and other products. You will be operating a commercial vehicle (ex. tractor trailer) to take goods to and from specific locations. Before and after each trip you will need to do a pre-trip/post-trip vehicle inspection to comply with state regulations. Each driver must follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving a company vehicle. Driver’s must keep an accurate log of deliveries, including the bills of lading and confirmations of the deliveries. Driver's will be expected to keep a good line of communication with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely and good quality deliveries of the goods to the customers. Each driver needs to handle the cargo with safety to prevent damages during transit. Each person needs to follow all company policies and procedures during the transportation operations. Each person should also preform and complete other duties given by management

Requirements:

Valid class A CDL license with a clean driving record

2+ yrs of experience as a class A CDL driver

Able to lift 50lbs

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently, and with a team

Willingness to have flexible hours, including the weekends and holidays if necessary
