Client Relations Project Manager (In-House Agency) Job at Inspire Brands
- Join Maverick Studios, the in-house creative and production agency at Inspire Brands in Atlanta, GA
- Support Inspire Brands’ family of brands inclusive of Arby’s, Baskin-Robbins, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dunkin’, Jimmy John’s, Sonic Drive-In and the International Team by creating and nurturing long-term relationships and business with our fellow brands and shared services teams
- Collaborate with other leaders of Maverick Studios to ensure that broader team goals are met

The Project Manager will operate as the liaison between Inspire Brands’ portfolio of legendary brands and Maverick Studios. Day-to-day responsibilities include client relations, project planning and management, agency briefings, estimating, budgeting, and leading a team of project coordinators. Success in this role requires developing and maintaining client relationships, strong project management skills, knowledge across multiple marketing channels, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and experience with budget management. This role demands an individual who is highly organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, self-motivated and can easily transition from strategy to execution. This role must also enjoy leading, managing and growing their teams consisting of full-time client relations coordinators and independent contractors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Relations
- Operate as the liaison between Inspire Brands’ portfolio of brands (clients) and Maverick Studios
- Build strong relationships with client to help maintain and create new business opportunities
- Provide strategic guidance across all project teams to enable the realization of client business objectives and project expectations as defined in client creative briefs
- Develop and maintain project status reports and lead weekly client project status meetings
- Build in-depth brand know-how across all designated clients with a focus on improving the overall customer experience with Maverick Studios
- Collaborate with Maverick Studios Creative, Production and Print teams to ensure they fulfill all client requirements on time and on budget
Project Management
- Manage the implementation of short- and long-term strategic marketing initiatives on behalf of assigned clients and/or lines of business
- Oversee, manage, and prioritize project workflow from scoping/briefing to final deployment
- Develop detailed project plans and manage timing throughout the life of each project
- Communicate scope, timing and budget changes to project team and key stakeholders; develop contingency plans as needed
- Merchandising/Social/Digital/Print: Manage the project planning and tracking of a wide variety of marketing collateral and marketing outreach for print, social, digital and web assets
- Video & Photography: Partner with the Head of Production to manage the planning, coordination, and execution of various video production and photography requests
- Ensure strategic communication integration of messaging across all channels
Budget Management
- Work with clients and colleagues to develop and manage project budgets
- Track and provide project budget updates every period
- Manage SOW and invoice logistics across all designated clients
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 4-year degree in marketing, business, or related fields and/or experience working in a brand marketing role or agency environment
- Minimum 3-4 years spent working at a creative agency or in a brand marketing role
- Experience managing budgets
- Experience using Workfront or similar project management tools is a plus
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, or ABILITIES
- Excellent planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple activities/initiatives and meet deadlines
- Proven ability to lead, manage and grow direct reports
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clear, effective, and concise written and oral skills to all levels of the business
- Solution-orientated, complex problem solver, adaptable to change and shifting priorities with the upmost professionalism
- Ability to think both strategically and tactically; ability to conceptualize and execute projects and find answers to questions before they are asked
- Agile, comfortable bending between the strategic and tactical
- Consistently displays a high level of ownership, self-motivation, initiative and follow through
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and adapt to scope and schedule changes
- Familiar with the processes and work of a creative/design and print production work environment
- Knowledge of the photography and video production process
- Tacit knowledge of workflow process design and workflow software management preferred
