Clinic Billing Representative (On-site) Job at Premier Medical Resources
We are looking for an ambitious and dynamic team member to join Premier Medical Resources as our Clinic Billing Representative in the Jersey Village area (77040).The ideal candidate should have an extensive knowledge of billing and display teamwork!
**This role will be hybrid upon successful completion of 90 days of employment**
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reviews medical record documentation to identify pertinent diagnoses and/or procedures that require coding
- Reviews medical records to assure accurate specificity of diagnoses, procedures, and appropriate reimbursement for professional and/or facility charges
- Effectively utilizes ICD 10, CPT, HPCPS, modifiers and/or other codes according to coding guidelines
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 years billing in a medical office or facility setting (required)
- 2 years in Orthopedic surgery billing (preferred)
- 2 years of workers comp claim processing (preferred)
- 1 year of experience in Department of Labor claims (preferred)
