We are a premier pediatric specialty, research, and academic teaching hospital with a medical and research partnership with Massachusetts General Hospital. It is the world’s leading center for pediatric burn care and is the only American Burn Association (ABA) exclusively pediatric verified burn center in New England and New York. The Boston Shriners Hospital is one of four pediatric burn specialty hospitals in Shriners Children’s health system and provide comprehensive care for cleft lip, cleft lep palate and other craniofacial anomalies, with a multidisciplinary care team.

The Clinical Analyst works extensively with Cerner as well as other related applications, collaborating with all departments, assisting the MIS Regional Director with information technology in clinical areas, ensuring compatibility with other hospital systems.
Responsibilities:- Responsible for Clinical and business development, process redesign and work-flow analysis for the implementation of new software applications; key resource for analysis, design, testing and training; support of the software applications of Shriners Hospitals for Children Information Systems (SHCIS).
- Assist with other systems, applications, upgrades; interfaces and processes as needed.
- Participate in all major data, functional and technology decisions made by the departmental teams, understanding users’ needs.
- Liaison between the Boston Hospital and the Home Office project teams Identify ways to improve the knowledge and computer abilities of staff when appropriate.
- On call rotation for issues during non-business hours between the Boston and Springfield hospitals.
Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
RN licensure, clinical degree, or healthcare experience strongly preferred.
Two years plus related experience, preferably in a healthcare setting. Business Operations/Project Management experience strongly preferred.
Prior experience supporting clinical information systems with the knowledge of Cerner Millennium or other EHR strongly preferred. Implementing major clinical systems utilizing clinical and ancillary systems within a hospital environment and clinical terminology understanding required.
