  Maintain strict client confidentiality
• Responsible for demonstrating a positive image of Advanced Recovery Systems
• Reviews pre-admission assessments for appropriateness to ARS facilities
• Review medical documents as needed for appropriateness, and escalate to Medical Teams as needed
• Coordination with Utilization Review Team when needed on medical reviews as well as reviews for insurance needs
• Coordination with on-site Medical Directors & Admissions Teams when applicable for review process
• Ensure reviews are done in an efficient and timely manner
• Have clear understanding of programming and treatment at multiple Advanced Recovery Systems facilities
• Conducts email correspondence and telephone conversations in a friendly and professional manner
• Maintains clear communications with supervisors and co-workers
• Follows all policy and procedures of Advanced Recovery Systems
• Work as a positive team member
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)
• Participate in staff meetings as needed

• Minimum Bachelors Degree with experience in Behavioral Health Field (1-2 yrs minimum preferred)
• Masters Degree preferred
• Certified Addictions Professional (CAP) preferred
• Minimum 1-2 years experience in a treatment setting, Substance Abuse/Recovery agency
• Knowledge of DCF guidelines
• Knowledge of Joint Commissions Standards
