Diakon Family Life Services offers a range of counseling and behavioral health services to children, teens, families and adult individuals. Services are provided through counseling centers in Mechanicsburg, New Bloomfield, Lewisburg, Montoursville and Williamsport as well as within several public-school buildings. Specialized programs include family-based mental health services, provided in the community and in-home, addictions counseling, trauma-focused therapy and SPIN, a service designed to assist children and youths who have problematic sexual behaviors.

General Responsibilities
Responsible for developing and maintaining a professional and supportive relationship with clients, as well as providing specialized therapeutic interventions. Responsible for program coordination and clinical guidance to supervision of therapeutic staff.

Education/Training: A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field required. A current LCSW, LMFT, or LPC preferred.

Experience: A minimum of three (3) years’ post graduate experience in related positions normally required.

ADA: Ability to bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach and lift items weighing up to 25 lbs.; valid driver's license;leadership skills sufficient to provide assistance in training therapeutic staff with varied levels of experience.
