Embark Behavioral Health is looking for a Clinical Director who aligns with our mission of reducing adolescent and young adult anxiety, depression and suicide to staff an OP, IOP and PHP clinic Tysons Corner, VA. Embark operates facilities across the US that support adolescents, young adults, and their families by offering a full continuum of care from Long Term Residential and Wilderness Therapy environments to our IOP/PHP clinics to virtual outpatient care. Our local IOP/PHP clinics are a critical part of our strategy to increase access to life-saving mental health treatments for families with insurance.

As Clinical Director, you will be supported by an experienced Executive Director and Administrative Team that are all focused on the mission to facilitate lasting positive change for young people and their families.

• Minimum master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences - Social Work (MSW,) Clinical Social Work (CSW,) Clinical Mental Counseling (CMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or a related discipline.
• Independent clinical licensure in the state of Virginia Required. Residents or Supervisees can not be considered for this role.
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent
• A Clinical Director at Embark MUST be authorized to provide clinical supervision in the state where the clinic is located by the appropriate state licensing agency.
• A Clinical Director should have stong leadership experience with a proven track record of manging others.
• A desire to facilitate client growth through a team approach, working with other care providers.
• A desire to perform and develop counseling/therapeutic expertise in individual, family, and group therapy.
• Strong People Manager with excellent team-building skills
• Two years of working experience as a licensed therapist leading individual, family, and group therapy sessions preferred.
• Ability to plan, implement, and adjust a course of treatment as required.
• Ability to pass a state background check
