Assistant Clinical Director of Virtual Programs - West

Monte Nido & Affiliates has been delivering treatment for eating disorders for over two decades. Our programs offer a model of treatment that blends medically sophisticated care with a personalized treatment approach. Our work is grounded in evidence-based strategies for adults and adolescents suffering from eating disorders. We work from a multi-disciplinary treatment team approach while integrating state-of-the-art medical, psychiatric, nutritional, and clinical strategies to provide comprehensive care within an intimate home setting.
We are looking for an Assistant Clinical Director to oversee our Virtual Outpatient Programming.
Responsibilities Include:
- Ensures overall clinical quality and model fidelity of programming
- Engaging in continuous improvement projects including staffing and fiscal responsibility
- Directly leads clinical therapists, dieticians, recovery coaches and program managers through mentoring and coaching
- Working knowledge of admissions and intake/ interdepartmental functioning
- Serves as on call
- Ability to perform and coach clinicians on Utilization Review, and navigating 3rd party or insurance payers
- Model normalized eating habits by eating meals to completion with clients and staff while working at mealtimes
- Clinical Director might conduct individual therapy, group therapy, or family therapy as needed
- Participate in discharge and aftercare planning with the entire treatment team.
- Ensure all compliance with documentation
- Providing safe, affirming and empathetic support across multiple populations
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in a behavioral health setting.
- Working knowledge of admissions and intake, Utilization Review, and 3rd party or insurance payers, ability to perform high level utilization reviews.
- Previous experience with Joint Commission and regulatory standards compliance is desired.
- Ability to manage budgets and utilize KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) is preferred.
- Experience in an Eating Disorder program or other virtual programs
- Knowledge of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion practices
- Employee selection and performance management experience are a plus.
- Must hold a Master's degree in a clinical discipline, at minimum.
- Active State license
