Lifecyle WomanCare is a birth center and a women’s health practice in Bryn Mawr run by nurse-midwives and registered nurses. We care for families having babies in our birth suites. LWC is a small and friendly organization.

We are looking for a reliable person to be one of our part-time Clinical Technicians three evenings per week with occasional weekend on-call coverage.

Our Clinical Technician position is at the very foundation of our ability to function every day. They keep our birth center stocked, clean, safe and ready for clients at all times. The ClinTechs are entrusted with managing clinical supplies, instrument sterilization, Quality Assurance tasks, and birth suite cleaning and set-up.

Thorough on-site training available. Experience working in a medical setting or housekeeping preferred but not required.

This is a flexible, part-time position which includes some week nights and on-call for occasional weekends. You get paid hourly when you are here and get a flat amount for weekend on-call coverage. If you can only do some days, but not the others, we should still talk!

We are very close to the SEPTA Norristown High Speed Line and to various bus lines.

Responsibilities Include:

1. Checking supplies in our exam rooms and restocking rooms for the next day.

2. Cleaning and sterilizing instruments.

3. Light laundry (one load per shift)

4. When a family goes home after having their baby, clean the birth rooms for infection prevention.

5. Restock birth rooms with supplies, equipment and medications.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

All staff are required to wear masks in building at all times other than meals. Staff are all vaccinated and boosted. We have high-quality HEPA air filters throughout the building and we have rapid testing kits for staff to use at home
