A. JOB SUMMARY:

The Machining Technician I is responsible for operating mechanical equipment up to 3 axes CNC equipment.

The Machining Technician I is responsible for operating mechanical equipment up to 5 axes CNC equipment.

The Machining Technician III is responsible for Operating CNC equipment, Setup and validate new CNC programs and provide training and support to the Machining Technicians I & II to operate specific equipment.

B. RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Follow manufacturing methods to perform normal job tasks in a safe manner under the direction of the supervisor, group leader or experienced associates in the area.

· Perform general clean up to keep work area clean and organized.

· Set up, adjust and operate mechanical equipment up to 3 axes CNC equipment as qualified.

· Verify CNC program integrity before operating the equipment.

· Measure and install tools into equipment.

· Perform self-inspection for the parts resulted from the machining operation.

· Work from blueprints and process control documents.

· Responsible for quality of parts produced.

· Responsible for documentation and identification generated or related to production of the job.

· Work within close tolerances.

· Work in a safe manner.

· Follows Company’s Compliance requirements.

· Maintains and improves the quality management system.

C. REQUIREMENTS:

· Education and Training: High school or as deemed sufficient by management.

· Technical Requirements: basic computer skills; ability to operate mechanical equipment up to 3 axes CNC equipment; ability to use measurement instruments; ability to read drawings and perform basic mathematical calculations; ability to read and interpret routine instructions.

· Experience: At least 2 years work experience in the area, or as deemed sufficient by management

All positions are $20-$25/hr.

All candidates must have some knowledge of machining. These are not entry level positions.

Hours-

8’s

1st shift 6:30am-3pm

2nd shift 3pm-midnight.

10’s

1st shift 5:30am to 4pm

2nd shift 4pm-2:30am

12’s

1st shift 4am-4pm

2nd shift 4pm-4am

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Work Location: In person
