What will you be doing?

• Operate and maintain a Kern laser cutting machine to produce products and components to specifications. Includes selecting proper cutting programs and fixtures, setting up cut operations, and inspecting products for dimensions as well as finish.
• Operate and maintain a digital flatbed printer to print metal panels and components.
• Prioritize jobs according to demands of manufacturing shipments.
• Select appropriate materials used in production per setup instructions.
• Monitor machine performance during the machining process. Perform preventive maintenance and clean machines.
• Identify component defects and take corrective action to solve the problem.

Requirements:

• 1+ years manufacturing experience. Prefer CNC operation and / or laser cutting experience.
• Read and interpret blueprints and other product specification documents in English.
• Demonstrate strong problem solving skills.
• Good knowledge of hand tools.
• Strong organization skills and ability to work independently.
• Machining fundamentals knowledge helpful.
• Dependable – reliably arrive at 6:00 am ready to work.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
