CNC Machinist/Programmer Lathe

Ital-Tech Machined Products specializes in precision machined component for aerospace, defense and commercial applications. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join and grow with our team of like-minded manufacturing professionals.

Compensation

Salary Range: $24.00 - $32.00

Responsibilities

• Setup and run 2 axis as well as multi axis lathes, live tooling and sub-spindle experience required. (NLX 2500 700/SY Mori, Samsung, Okuma, and Hass)
• Optimize existing programs and processes to maximize machine output and quality
• Inspect parts using standard precision inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, bore gauge, height gauge, etc). Manual CMM experience a plus
• Own quality and consistently produce high quality parts that meet customer requirements
• Hold tolerances of .0005" or less
• Follow established processes defined in Job Travelers and fill out required documentation
• Assign manufacturing tolerances to ensure customer specifications are met on the completed product (including planning for coating buildup).
• Select the appropriate tools, feeds and speeds to optimize material removal while maintaining drawing requirements
• Strictly adhere to our AS9100D requirements
• Prioritize jobs to ensure customer’s due date is met
• Work independently and as part of team
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe working area
• Work overtime as needed
• Lift 50lbs

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ CNC Lathe setup experience
• High School Diploma, (GED) or equivalent
• Safety orientated and willing to participate in continuous improvement team discussions
• General mechanical knowledge/background

Skills & Competencies:

• Safe use of hand and power tools
• Ability to follow instruction. (oral and written)
• Ability to apply concepts of algebra and geometry
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including GD&T
• Willing to work in team environment and participate in team process improvement discussions
