Construction Exteriors Punch Technician Job at Southern Siding Company
Southern Siding Company is a leading new home and remodeling company specializing in turnkey exterior services. From siding installation, custom millworks, to residential roofing, we successfully manage thousands of projects throughout Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Alabama each year.
We are seeking experienced siding (Hardie and vinyl), gutter, and/or roofing punch technicians to join our team for a full time, year round career. Must be 18 years or older. Under the supervision of a Field Manager you will work alone or as part of a crew. Basic hand and power tools will be provided or you can use your own.

Daily operations start at 6:30 AM.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to the job site to make construction-grade repairs in the areas of roofing, siding, windows, doors, gutters, fascia, soffit.
Qualifications:
- Previous related experience in siding and gutter installation; roofing experience a strong plus.
- Self-motivated, energetic, hardworking, reliable and have high standards of integrity and professionalism.
- Reliable transportation and ability to work regular overtime every week.
- Committed to regular and punctual attendance at the job locations throughout the extended Atlanta metro area.
- Ability and willingness to work in the elements which can be extreme depending on the season.
- Safety-conscious at all times.
- Current driver's license with ability to pass driving record inspection and obtain a DOT medical certificate (to drive box truck as needed).
- Use and knowledge of basic hand and power tools.
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
- Ability to comprehend, construct, and interpret diagrams, and shop drawings for the task being done.
- Ability to walk/balance self on varying slopes of roofs; ability to climb ladders and use walk boards.
- Ability to consistently lift up to 20 pounds, frequently 50 pounds and occasionally 100 pounds to unload materials and tools from work trucks and unroll roofing.
