OUR OPPORTUNITY:

Valor Contracting is currently looking for a responsible, experienced Traveling Superintendent to join our group Locations include, but are not limited to, North Dakota, Iowa, & Wisconsin. As a Traveling Superintendent for our company, you would be responsible for:

• Reviewing project plans and blueprints to determine daily job tasks
• Developing work schedules and crew responsibilities
• Leading and enforcing job-site safety rules and procedures
• Communicating progress/issues to Project Managers
• Inspecting job-site(s) to verify tasks are completed and of high quality
• Completing timesheets, injury reports, and additional job-site paperwork as required
• Training new staff and monitoring job performance
• Managing supply and equipment inventories
• Additional duties as assigned

To excel in this role, an individual will need to:

• Have previous Construction Superintendent experience
• Have strong communication and leadership skills
• Be familiar with the safe usage of hand-held tools and equipment
• Enjoy working outside, in all weather conditions
• Be able to lift and carry 50-75 pounds
• Be responsible, accountable, dedicated, punctual, professional and dependable
