PharmcareUSA of Edison, NJ is seeking a Full-time LPN Nurse Consultant to join our team.

The Nurse Consultant is a qualified, licensed professional who is responsible for assisting in the overall service and compliance of the clinical services provided in accordance with the policies and procedures of PharmcareUSA, state professional standards and all Health Care regulating entity requirements.


PharmcareUSA is a national, closed- door, long term care pharmacy business with locations in multiple states. We are privately owned and continue to grow each year, providing daily deliveries to nursing and assisted living facilities as well as hospice residents. Essential Functions:

  • License in good standing with the Board of Nursing. Knowledge of State, Federal, Local, ACHC, and OSHA rules and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, flexibility and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to plan, organize, implement and evaluate clinical programs that will meet the need of the community served.
  • Ability to teach, train, and empower staff to implement the clinical service process in the home and/or Institutional setting.
  • Self-directed with excellent time management skills and able to work independently
  • Ability to work under stressful conditions.
  • Ability to get to the job site.
  • Will comply with all Corporate Initiatives and utilize provided tools/resources as appropriate.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, but may serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.

Job Specifications:

  • LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) License in good standing with the state of New Jersey.
  • See State Board of Nursing Rules and Regulations; also all Pharmacy regulations that apply.
  • In all activities will comply with accreditation, legal, regulatory and safety requirements.


Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to travel to locations; may require occasional weekend and/or evening work
  • Must be able to routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Must be able to constantly operate a computer and other office equipment such as calculators, copy machines and printers up to 100% of the time;
  • Regularly required to talk and hear in order to communicate effectively over the phone and in person;
  • Must be able to see 100% of the time to recognize medications, detect inaccuracies, and observe the work of others;
  • This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping;
  • Must be able to lift and/or transport materials weighing up to 25 pounds, up to 10% of the time;
  • Must be able to tolerate normal office environment and exposure to various medications


Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full time position, working 40 hours per work week.
