We are looking for a motivated Graphic Designer / Content Creator to join our Brand & Marketing team. The Brand & Marketing department manages and facilitates the execution of the Nephros brand, while also promoting Sales efforts, and working collaboratively to drive business growth. The Graphic Designer / Content Creator position is a key role, with major impact on the creation of new materials and initiatives. The Graphic Designer / Content Creator will be responsible for the design and development of clear, compelling marketing content that adheres to brand guidelines and communicates Nephros value effectively to target audiences. Content to include sell sheets, blog posts, web pages, social media content, brand assets, presentations, emails, and more as needed. The Graphic Designer / Content Creator will be accountable for the design and update of all marketing content, management of social media presence, collaboration with digital marketing partners, and research to support the development of multimedia and written assets.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work within brand guidelines to produce design and content that drives brand awareness, lead generation, community engagement and conversions.
  • Proactively manage projects within deadlines while ensuring brand integrity, regulatory compliance, and accuracy.
  • Own the design production of digital and print content.
  • Manage image library, retouching and formatting images for digital and print as needed.
  • Research and develop content for both short- and long-form outputs.
  • Support the drafting and editing of communications copy including social media posts, blog posts, and emails.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts / internal stakeholders to develop new materials that provide value to our audience and support business needs.
  • Find and curate relevant third-party content to leverage across social channels.
  • Manage social media presence and audience engagement.
  • Support the development and execution of email marketing campaigns.
  • Work with third-party partners to execute digital marketing strategies and optimization.
  • Collaborate with Director, Brand & Marketing to define KPIs and metrics for marketing efforts.
  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy to develop and execute content marketing initiatives with minimal oversight.
  • Collaborate with quality department to keep content current and in compliance with Nephros QMS, FDA’s QSR, GLP’s (Good Laboratory Practices), ISO13485, and other international regulatory requirements.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Design, Marketing, Communications or related business field
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in graphic design role. Experience in B2B marketing, preferably in a medical device or environment/water related field is a plus
  • Excellent sense of layout and design with strong attention to detail and typographic skills
  • Portfolio of relevant work examples
  • Experience creating impactful, on-brand content in multiple forms of media
  • Experience working in WordPress to create and edit web content
  • Demonstrated ability to write high-quality copy for a variety of channels and audiences
  • Able to think critically and problem solve in highly regulated environment
  • Working knowledge of SEO and web KPIs and metrics
  • An understanding of analytics and reporting, and the ability to analyze data to make informed decisions
  • Video experience is a major plus
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects of varying deadlines
  • Experience working within a team environment structure to support internal and external clients
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills, ability to organize and summarize information way to communicate key points to partners
  • Excellent organizational skills, a high sense of urgency, initiative, & proactive planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a team player by actively engaging and participating with cross-functional team
  • Self-motivated and strong collaborator
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop); fluency in MS Office, social media, website (WordPress)
  • Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
