Job Title: Controls Specialist Department: Commercial Sales

TSI ‘s service area covers northern Illinois, eastern Iowa, and the U.P. of Michigan with distribution centers based in Madison and Green Bay.

Job Summary:

Meet customers technical needs in Controls and train on start-up/installation of equipment. Will be designing and developing automatic temperature control and energy management systems.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· To Be… Punctual, cooperative, dependable, and able to take direction.

· Answer contractor phone calls regarding control application and service problems.

· Provide on-site support to contractor for control applications and service problems.

· Assist Sales Engineers, Estimators, and Engineering Dept. with control issues.

· Assist Sales Engineers in pre and post sales support by writing sales order, developing bids and compiling information.

· Design wiring diagrams for contractors.

· Spec out and order components for customers.

· Develop and present classroom or hands-on controls training.

· Update controls literature and maintain inventory.

· Program DDC Controllers.

· Promotes and maintains a flexible cooperative, positive, team oriented attitude with and between departments and end users.

· Ensures timely, accurate, proper records, files, data bases, etc. are developed and maintained for assigned areas of responsibility.

· Experience with Bacnet and/or Third-party integration.

· Open and willing to perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

· 7 years of experience in Controls

· Associates Degree

· Valid Driver’s License

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Presentation skills

· PC/Software skills with Visio and AutoCAD

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
