Job Summary:
Under the direction of the Supervisor of Food Services, the Cook is responsible for preparation of quality food for patients, employees and visitors using standardized recipes and production sheets. Adheres to HACCP guidelines to ensure efficient, safe and sanitary food production.
Job Functions:
Prepares and serves hot & cold food for patients, cafeteria, and caterings events in a timely and attractive manner. while following all HACCP (food
Follows all HACCP (food safety guidelines) as directed department leadership.
Follows procedures for labeling & dating all food items.
Performs cleaning as assigned and fills out cleaning chart.
Adheres to production system guidelines and recipes while ensuring appropriate quantities are prepared.
Education:
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
