Position Summary Information
Summary of Position
The Coordinator of Advancement Services is responsible assisting and supporting both the Data Management and Gift Records teams within Advancement Services. This position will be responsible for updating and maintaining constituent records with data received through multiple channels. This position will use critical and independent thinking to be proactive in seeking out ways to improve the quality and accuracy of the data. Additionally, this position will be asked to assist the Gift Records team with various projects that ensure best practices for record keeping and data entry.

General Purpose of Position
This position has significant responsibilities in the areas of data entry, gift entry and event registrations in support of the Data Management and Gift Records teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Research, update and maintain constituent record changes from different channels, including emails, forms, online requests, returned mail, event registrations, and ad-hoc requests from Advancement colleagues and campus partners.
- Process and post all event registrations.
- Manage faculty/staff updates (hiring, terminations and position changes)
- Manage student hiatus/withdrawal and update their parent’s records accordingly
Education and Experience
Associate’s degree or minimum of one to two years experience in advancement services, preferably in a college or university setting.
