We are looking for an organized and communicative Coordinator to join our Talent Operations team.

Your Impact

All candidates for this position will support AF through a robust ticketing response system, deliver strong communications on talent-related matters to our employees/school leaders, provide excellent customer service in support of the team and the network and participate in systems and process improvement to provide a better customer experienc

Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Talent Operations, your responsibilities will be:


Communication & General Team Support

  • Partner with fellow teammates to communicate and track completion of important talent projects with our school leaders
  • Ensure deadlines and project expectations are met
  • Provide general HR and team support as needed on a per-project basis.
  • Manage multiple talent-related systems (Echosign, ADP select, etc) and provide DSOs with access to systems.
  • Submit invoices for payment on behalf of Team Talent Ops.

HR Management for Network Support Employees

  • Coordinate onboarding action steps and documentation for all Network Support new hires
  • Coordinate offboarding actions and documentation for all departing Network Support employees.
  • Support the automation efforts of the onboarding and offboarding processes, whenever possible.
  • Coordinate with the Payroll team to ensure all Network Support employee pay and benefits deductions are accurate during each payroll cycle.
  • Ensure effective maintenance of all Network Support employee personnel files so they are audit ready always.

Zendesk Ticket System Management

  • Provide the first level of support/responses for all incoming Zendesk tickets from employees
  • Assign tickets to appropriate team members as needed and follow up with team members for timely completion of tickets.
  • Review ticket topic trends monthly to improve our existing resources and practices.
  • Perform basic HR data entry, tracking and reporting using our HR platform, ADP, as needed.

Employee Onboarding & Maintenance of Onboarding platform

  • Add all incoming school-based hires and add them to Greenhouse.
  • Support DSOs in onboarding action steps; add new hires to ADP.
  • Maintain content of Greenhouse onboarding platform.

Oversee Fingerprinting & background check process for all employees

  • Review and refresh state-based requirements for AF new hires related to fingerprinting and background checks
  • Turnkey requirements, resources, and changes in process to school leaders and new hires directly
  • Ensure smooth access to state fingerprinting systems and clearance documents
  • Perform background checks for network support new hires

Skills You'll Have

All candidates for this position will support AF core values, lead innovation, and manage projects to ensure our Talent Operations team, like our schools, are setting a high bar in all areas and pursuing it relentlessly. Bachelor's degree required, Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration preferred.


An ideal candidate will demonstrate competency in the following areas:

  • Prior experience managing an HR database and SharePoint websites are preferred
  • Communication and problem solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of Excel
  • High attention to detail
  • Knowledge over HR policies

Location

This role is considered a hybrid position. Candidates must live within commutable distance of one of our 3 Network Support offices (NYC ; New Haven, CT ; Providence, RI). 2-3 days per week in the office is expected.

Compensation

Achievement First sets salaries through a lens of equity, and based on the requisite skills, education, and experience relevant to the role. The salary for this position is $61,791.60. In order to uphold our commitment to equity, Achievement First does not negotiate pay. Achievement First offers to all regular, full-time employees a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, a 403(b) retirement benefit package with match, and paid Family Leave.
