Position Summary:

The Copywriter intern at MEYCO is responsible for helping our social managers and copy team with crafting engaging content for social media, email marketing, website and design work. Their daily tasks will include working directly with the MEYCO team on weekly social media captions and copy, drafting email copy for weekly client newsletters and proofreading any work created for the design team for final production.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Write engaging, grammatically correct social media content that mirror client goals, brand voice and campaigns
• Draft email campaigns based on briefs from our team and the client
• Proofreading and editing design materials for content grammar issues
• Reviewing social media campaigns on our clients’ social media platforms to ensure clarity in messaging

Qualifications:

• Previous bodies of professionally written work
• Minimum 1 year of copywriting and editing experience required
• Experience in social media is a bonus
• Highly analytical, detail oriented and pride yourself on being organized
• Highly proficient in the Google Suite specifically G-Mail and Google Sheets
• Google Drive experience required
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with proven experience in copywriting
• Comfortable working in an extremely fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team setting.
• Self-starter, comfortable taking initiative and thinking on your feet.
• High degree of professionalism with outstanding ability to work effectively and efficiently with colleagues at all levels of management.
• This individual will need to have a high level of passion, drive, a positive attitude, be motivated and organized, with exceptional attention to detail
