Job Summary:
Halff Associates is an Architecture & Engineering firm and is looking to hire a Corporate - Sr. Corporate level recruiter (depending on experience) in Little Rock to identify and attract top engineering, landscape architecture, environmental, energy, and survey talent to our Austin offices. This person will strive to achieve and exceed staffing goals and objectives, while demonstrating a willingness to go above and beyond to support hiring managers with their staffing needs. A motivated, process-oriented recruiter with strong client and candidate management skills is ideal for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the hiring process; actively engage with managers, provide ongoing status of requisitions, advise and influence managers throughout the hiring process, and close requisitions in a timely manner
- Collaborate with hiring managers to evaluate position criteria, determine candidate requirements, and review advertising and sourcing options
- Review resumes, interview and screen applicants for technical competence and cultural fit
- Act as internal consultant for hiring managers in evaluating applicant qualifications and selection of most qualified candidates to build best in class teams
- Establish and maintain contact with a variety of potential applicant resources including industry organizations, college placement centers, trade schools
- Use sourcing tools and techniques to identify passive candidates such as online social networking, traditional networking, Boolean searches, and referrals
- Use candidate relationship management skills to identify, assess, and maintain candidates
- Provide guidance to hiring managers on recruiting tools and processes
- Manage 20-35 requisitions at any time at all levels of the organization
- Ensure consistent application of talent acquisition processes and policies
- Travel in the fall and spring to approximately 5 campus career fairs each season
- Based in the Halff North Austin office with intermittent visits to the south Austin office. Hybrid work schedule
Required Skills and Experience:
- Requires a bachelor's degree (strongly preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5+ years’ experience to include any combination of full cycle recruiting, coordinating, sourcing, recruiting agency, or HR experience
- Demonstrated relationship building, client management and influencing skills
- Recruiting experience in the engineering, environmental, marketing and survey fields desirable
- Advanced level pre-closing and closing skills with proven ability to determine viable prospects
- Reports to the Director of Talent Acquisitions with demonstrated ability to collaborate within a talent acquisition team
- Must have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Results oriented, self-motivated, and creative
- Prior experience with an applicant tracking system is required. Experience using Paycor recruiting software a plus
- Experience seeking passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Glassdoor, or social media sites
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work on multiple projects to meet deadlines
- Proven negotiation skills with the ability to influence and persuade candidate hiring decisions in both the selection and offer process with candidates and senior management
