STANDARD HOURS: 40 hours per week. Typical hours Monday - Friday 8:00 am -5:00 pm; Flexibility required to include other evening and/or weekend hours, as necessary.
PAY RANGE: $18.98 - $21.09 per hour
- Salaries/Wages for all finalists (internal and external) will be based upon education, experiences, current wages, and internal equity.

POSITION SUMMARY
Provide administrative support to the Counseling and Student Services teams. Maintain confidential departmental files, make appointments for students and maintain counseling schedules. Compile statistical data to be used for scheduling and reporting purposes. Coordinate promotion and marketing strategies for department events, assist with social media presence and team related project work. Assist Student Services leaders with special projects and operations.

Essentials Functions Statement(s)
- Provide in-person, administrative support to the Counseling team.
- Serve as first point of contact for department, determine nature of visit and or provide appropriate service. Triage or refer crisis situations as needed.
- Manage front desk and email inbox to schedule or change appointments, provide information, etc.
- Inquire about student needs and triage with referrals to counselors and appropriate teams.
- Coordinate promotion of counseling events; distribute support materials.
- Assist in preparation of reports, data collection and evaluation, grant and quarterly reporting requirements, etc.
- Maintain and research items for department support materials, inventory for staff use; monitor budget for operations.
- Provide administrative support to other Student Services teams and leaders as requested.
- Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of new initiatives and special programming.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Associate’s Degree in Administrative Assistant or Business
Experience: Two years of experience in an administrative role
**An equivalent combination of work experience and education may be considered.

Computer Skills
Microsoft Office Suite experience required (Advanced knowledge preferred), and experience with database systems desired.
