Your Role and Responsibilities
The Creative Lab Project Manager will be a part of The Weather Company Operations team and report to the Project Management Leader. This role is responsible for working across the organization to manage projects throughout their lifecycle. The Creative Lab Project Manager is accountable for developing and overseeing steps of projects and proactively guiding them through the internal workflow process including costing, resourcing, integration, performance, monitoring and reporting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Define project objectives, create schedules, and oversee quality control
- Assign and co-manage Creative Lab resources, third-party contractors and/or consultants
- Communicate scope/schedule changes to team and provides solutions for addressing change
- Provide project timelines to client and internal teams and maintain timing shifts throughout the duration of projects
- Coordinate and build strong working relations with various internal organizations including: Ad Products, Ad Tech, Creative Lab, Ad Operations and other business partners
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Demonstrated project management skills; able to manage multiple efforts concurrently
- Clear succinct, persuasive, written and verbal communication
- Excellent interpersonal skills, negotiation and problem resolution skills.
- Demonstrated self-starter capability, requiring minimum supervision.
- Critical thinking skills; able to break down complex business and technical challenges into logical components
- Growth mindset, adaptable to changes in environment
- Ability to solve across multiple disciplines (technical, legal, and business)
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- 2-5 years marketing/product development, digital advertising and/or telecommunications experience
- Experience working within an advertising and media agency environment, skilled at client management and familiar with marketing communications strategy and processes.
- Familiar with Agile methodologies
- Proficient with MS Office applications, Jira, Salesforce, Google sites, and Project Professional, with the ability to understand and implement new tools as necessary and appropriate.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
