JDog Junk Removal & Hauling is a national franchise owned and operated exclusively by Military Veterans and their direct family members. Originally located in Pennsylvania, JDog now spans across over 30 states with more than 260 active locations.

As a member of the JDog team, you will be given the opportunity to make a positive impact in your community while gaining valuable skills and experience. Work alongside veterans and like minded individuals and help us achieve our goal of lowering the veteran unemployment rate to under 1% nationally.

As a crew member, you will be responsible for many different tasks. The primary responsibilities will include assisting on job sites, removing our customers unwanted items. This will include mainly residential properties along with some commercial locations.

In addition, there will be some duties related to guerilla marketing. This includes but may not be limited to placing door hangers on potential customers homes and placing lawn signs around town.

Responsibilities and Duties

JDog Junk Removal & Hauling employees can expect a fast paced work environment with every day being different from the last. With that being said, the duties and responsibilities of a Crew Member are listed below. Please note this is not a comprehensive list and is only meant to manage your expectations of the day to day.

• Arrive for work on time in the correct uniform
• Report to the Crew Leader or direct report
• Frequently sorting and loading household items such as furniture
• Identify and separate items for resale, donation and recycling
• Identify common metals such as non ferrous and separate for scrap metal recycling
• Talk with customers while representing the JDog brand and our values of Respect, Integrity & Trust
• Assist in Guerilla marketing

Qualifications

• Ability to learn scheduling software
• Clean driving record and the ability to drive a non CDL commercial vehicle
• Be physically able to lift up to 75 lbs
• Be physically able to work in a variety of conditions to include outdoors in the elements
• Comfortable working with power tools on occasion
• Must be flexible and willing to work with a changing schedule
• Available to work on weekends as needed
• Must possess a valid Drivers license
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
• Must have reliable transportation

Salary and Benefits

• Hourly rate is between $18-$20 per hour depending on experience
• Employees will keep 100% of all tips that may be given by customers
• Ability to keep items removed from job sites with prior approval from management
