POSITION SUMMARY

The Crew Member position acts as a brand ambassador for the Urban Remedy brand. The Crew Member engages and energizes our customers and connects our communities. The Crew Member has a field marketer mindset and finds innovative and creative ways to build brand awareness within their community. The Crew Member has an understanding of and passion for the Urban Remedy mission and assists in cultivating a culture that is aligned with Urban Remedy’s core values and belief that Food is Healing.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

· Lives our values of FAMILY every day.

· Greets every customer with an Urban Remedy sample.

· Responds to customers with open ended questions to get to know them and understand their unique needs.

· Offers product knowledge to educate customers and suggests the best products for them.

· Provides a warm goodbye and welcomes the customer back for their next visit.

· Results driven. Understands stores daily sales goals and works toward hitting those goals every shift.

· Suggestive sells to every customer in a genuine way.

· Shares innovative ideas with their Store Manager on ways to drive foot traffic into the store.

· Maintains store merchandising and cleanliness per Company standards.

· Tracks and records cold case and freezer temperatures in accordance with state food safety laws

· Utilizes Communications Binder to ensure all daily tasks are being completed.

· Ensures proper cash handling.

· Attends store meetings, as necessary.

· Complies with all Company policies, procedures, and directives.

· Performs other job duties, as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS

Position-Specific Skills

· 1- 2 years of retail experience.

· Professional, energetic and positive.

· A high sense of integrity.

· Ability to achieve results working independently.

· Strong prioritizing and time management skills.

· A motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task.

· Strong communication skills; proficient in spoken and written English.

Education/Training

· High school diploma.

· POS experience preferred.

· Food handling and safety certification (can be obtained after hire).
