Duties

Ensures security and privacy of all guests is maintained at all times. Demonstrates a welcoming manner and effective communication skills. Professionally interact with guests. Provides assistance in handling customer complaints. Performs deep cleaning as required to include defrosting refrigerator, cleaning windows, replacing/cleaning of drapes, carpet shampooing or cleaning. Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Successful completion of National Agency Background (NACI) Check required.
• This position involves work on workdays and may involve weekends, and holidays, as well as rotating shifts.
• Physical exertion is involved in standing and walking for long periods, some bending, stooping and lifting is required.
• Position requires a constant vigilance to ensure maximum security for UH residents and employees in and around the facility.
• Certification for housekeeping outlined in the Lodging Career Path Guide obtained within established time frame.
• Complete physical examination at a military medical facility maybe required for fitness for duty requirement.
• May be required to possess valid driver?s license as travel to other facilities within normal scope of duties may be required.
